In the third quarter of 2021, Luxembourg's top 5 News and Magazines apps exhibited diverse trends in downloads and active users, as per data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at their performance:

RTL.lu saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting the quarter with 260 downloads and peaking at 460 in mid-July. Towards the end of September, the weekly downloads stabilized around 262.

L'essentiel experienced a relatively steady download rate throughout the quarter. It started with 126 downloads at the end of June, peaked at 191 in the first week of July, and concluded the quarter with 124 downloads.

Opera News: breaking & local showed a downward trend in downloads initially, dropping from 39 in late June to a low of 8 in late August. However, it recovered slightly by the end of September with 15 downloads. The app's weekly active users saw a slight increase, starting at 278 and peaking at 343 in mid-September before settling at 277 at the end of the quarter.

Koo: Know What's Happening! demonstrated a consistent increase in weekly downloads, beginning with 11 in early August and reaching 47 by mid-September. Active users also rose steadily from 10 in mid-August to 69 by the end of September.

Breaking News: Local & Alerts maintained a stable download rate, starting at 21 downloads in late June and ending at 33 in the last week of September. Active users showed a gradual increase from 79 in late June to 120 by the end of September.
